PVC Curtains

PVC/Plastic Strip Curtains, PVC Strip Doors & Bulk Roll PVC

All PVC Screens bulk roll products are extruded with rounded edges and are manufactured from self-extinguishing flexible PVC, which will not support combustion.
Crash doors available on request

Our  PVC/Plastic strip curtains offer a high degree of clarity that ensures clear visibility to and from your working area. Each bulk roll   is individually wrapped with a strong plastic inner core for shape retention.

Our PVC Strip Doors offer the most economical solutions to protect employees and goods from adverse environmental conditions such as noise, heat, cold, humidity, dust and drafts.

For refrigeration purposes we offer our Super Cold PVC Strip which will remain unaffected in temperatures as low as -45 degrees.

We stock a complete range of associated components suitable for ‘Hook on’ and ‘Bolt on’ type fixings, including our Multi-Fit polycarbonate hanging plates.

We have no minimum order requirement for part, bulk roll, fully assembled curtain quantities and we operate a nationwide fitting service.

Instructions

? Slide the M8 bolts into the centre slot and along the track.

? The ‘L’ shaped bracket can be used in any configuration that best suits your requirement.

? Place the bracket over the M8 bolt and tighten into position using the washer and nut.

? Place the brackets no more than 1200mm apart and no more than 200mm in from each end of the track.

? Slide the required number of M8 bolts down both sides of the track ready to receivethe curtain strips.

Part Two Instructions

? Secure the brackets with track attached to the brickwork and concrete with rawl-bolts to steelwork with high tensile nuts and bolts and to timber with coach screws or large gauge wood screws.

? Push each pre drilled strip over the bolts with the concave side facing the track.

? Hold each strip to the track using the aluminium plate, thread the M8 nuts onto the bolts but do not tighten fully.

? Slide the strip to the desired starting place before tightening the nuts.

? If you are including Red warning strips remember to position these first.

? To achieve 100% overlap  each strip must butt up to the next on both sides of the track, for 50% overlap each strip should be placed at a distance from each other that it overlaps by a quarter of the width of each strip.

? Finally trim the bottom of each strip to the desired length using a sharp knife.

It may not be possible to achieve the desired overlap ? this will depend on the width of your opening and the width of your strip

It is the end of the British summertime and the encroaching winter is upon us!  Do not forget to change your clocks this weekend.

Since 1972, Britain has decided to go with Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in winter, and British Summer Time (BST) in Summer.

Clocks move one hour backwards.

Sunday 26 October 2 O’clock in the morning change to 1 O’clock

Next Years times;

2009: the Sundays of 29 March + 1 and 25 October -1
2010: the Sundays of 28 March + 1 and 31 October -1
2011: the Sundays of 27 March + 1 and 30 October -1

How to remember;

Spring Forward

Fall Back (Fall = Autumn)

Now is a good time to dust off the reflective jackets and get batteries for the bike lights.
