Merlin Industrial Products Ltd began trading in March 1994. The company initially supplied local companies a wide range of Storage and handling equipment adding Office furniture some two years later.
In 1996 WJ Meddings (Holdings) Ltd purchased a 40% stake in the company to help finance further growth. Peter Meddings joined the board as financial director and has helped the current managing director Bob White grow the company steadily over the last 10 years.
Within the group there are several companies, Thermalec, Meddings Machine Tools and Meddings Engineering being the main ones. Situated on the same site in Ivybridge, Devon at the southern most point of Dartmoor, the companies work together to obtain the best prices and quality for there respective customers.
Merlin Industrial Products Ltd has been registered to enable it to supply NATO forces worldwide whilst there Engineering companies hold relevant ISO and BS standards.
With the widest range of products and industrial services they can offer the larger company significant savings in single sourcing there products and services.
