Merlin Industrial Products Ltd started trading in 1994 supplying a broad range of storage and handling equipment to local companies in the South West. The offices are still in Ivybridge Devon, the southernmost point of Dartmoor. In 1996 the company joined one of the UK’s oldest manufacturing companies famous worldwide for their machine tools (WJ Meddings (Holdings) Ltd.)

Currently the group supply Government, Education, Public, Health and Military organisations along with the all important private individuals who need something that’s a little better quality. We still manufacture machine tools also swimming pool heaters and provide precision and fabrication engineering services so that we can design specific products should you require them.

1. 10 years ago we supplied special picking trolleys with safety steps attached for the QVC shopping channel.
   
2. Last year ( 2006 ) we designed and supplied stainless steel computer workstations for Glaxo Smith Kline’s anti-biotics factory.
   
3. We enjoy solving your problems and finding answers to the tricky questions. 5 years ago we helped the USAF base in Ramstein get some Plastic Lockers.
   
4. Castors for the massive steel ramp used every year at the London Marathon near the Cutty Sark were supplied by us.
   
5. Tomorrow we could be helping someone you know but today we would like to help you.

A very good afternoon to you and i sincerely hope that this week has seen some encouraging sales and enquiries. The weather has continued to be a mixed bag but we have been blessed with some very nice, warm days…….Only to wake up the next morning to frozen cars and a sprinkling of snow, oh what a great place the UK is with everyday being a total surprise for both ourselves and the Met office!

I am pleased to inform you of a few new additions to our PVC family.

From left to right: Anti-insect translucent orange, Translucent yellow and natural “no colour” PVC. These are all standard grades and therefore suitable for temperatures of +38C to -10C. The natural offers exactly the same benefits as the standard clear (blue tint) but with the advantage of no colour tint. We are also very soon to be stocking solid black and solid white PVC in 300mm x 3mm x 50m grades.

Due to customer feedback / demand we have amended our stock size for our welding green PVC. From the end of April 07 we will be stocking welding green in 300mm x 2mm x 50m. We will of course still have some stocks of 200mm x 2mm x 50m welding green, but only while stocks last.

Our PVC sheet stocks and size range has also been increased over the past few months, please refer to the attached a copy of our latest PVC stock list.

“Jack Sheppard” Steel Security Door update

The NEW Jack Sheppard door has arrived in our stocks this week. It has all the same qualities as the original door but with a lower or removable threshold and with optional extras of a CE rated crash bar and digital lock.
